Q: Do lashes damage your natural lashes?
A: No not if applied correctly i.e not too long or heavy ect.
Q: Why does it take so long? A: we apply up to 90-160 lashes per eye individually and this process is one that can take 45 mins-1.5 hours.
Q: What is the difference between classic lashes and volume?
A: See the diagram below. Classic lashes are singular lashes applied one by one onto just one of your natural lashes. Volume fans are not pre made we hand make a fan. This is a specialised service. Volume fans are lighter in weight and wrap around your natural lashes.
Every lash weather it is a classic single lash or a hand made fan is individually placed. Lash Fans weight is distributed by the wrap around the natural lash dispersing its weight. The training for this is something that takes years to perfect and therefore is much more expensive than your classic lash types.
FLARE LASHES AND CLUSTER LASHES
ARE THEY THE SAME?
No.
Cluster lashes and flare lashes have been around for a long time. The industry has evolved now to realise these lashes are what damage natural lashes. You may see $50 lashes around so be careful. They may claim to be volume lashes and look great but will cause your lashes to stop growing!
If your natural lash can not fall away naturally your eyes will become sore, itchy and may even develop a condition called traction alopecia. This is when your natural lash has had enough of heavy lashes and stops growing. It can take 45-90 days before it starts to grow back, if it does.
